“Every season, we get flooded with eager applicants who believe they’re ready to lead a House. Most of them have no plan, no members, and no idea what a spreadsheet is. Don’t be that applicant. Read this. Twice.”
I’m Picky Solem, and I’ve been running the House Registry at Glamtopia City Hall since the Council realized drag queens don’t file paperwork on time. You want to start a House? Here’s what you need to know before you come knocking on our velvet-trimmed doors.
👑 House Creation Rules (Read Carefully—No, Seriously)
🔸 New Houses may only be created three times a year
- January, May, and September
- Only ONE House per cycle. That’s it. No last-minute additions. No bribes in rhinestone form.
🔸 The cost to create a House is 2,600 Fan Coins
- Yes, you read that correctly. Leadership isn’t cheap.
🔸 You must have at least 25 members ready to enroll
- We will check. And no, three alts and your cousin in a wig don’t count.
🔸 The Glamtopia Council has final say
- Applications are reviewed by the Council. They may approve, reject, or request additional materials.
- And no, we won’t “just show it to Gloriana Bang.”
🔸 If your application isn’t processed in time…
- It rolls over to the next cycle. You can update your submission, or stew in regret.
🔸 Two-Month Limit After Approval
- If you don’t gather your coins and your members within two months, your House license is revoked.
- Permanently. Yes, permanently.
🔸 Member Fees Are Your Problem
- If you collect Fan Coins from future members and your application is rejected, you are responsible for refunding them.
- We don’t do refunds. We do paperwork.

Your application must clearly explain:
🎭 Your House’s Role in the Community
What will your House contribute to Think Drag?
Events, challenges, mentorship programs, drama? (Please be specific.)
📣 How You Plan to Attract & Retain Members
No, “being iconic” is not a strategy. Show us structure. A vibe. A plan.
🪞 Your Leadership Experience
Have you led in Think Drag before? Run events? Managed queens with conflicting star signs?
We need to know you won’t fold after your first public feud.

Then submit your application. Just don’t forget to attach page four of the leadership outline and format your House vision in 12pt font with proper punctuation.
